These Faux Bleached shirts are 95% polyester and 5% spandex. They start white and the color is pressed on with sublimation ink leaving the bleach spot for customization fabric and the color is dyed with sublimation ink to give the bleach look. The feel is in between polyester and cotton feel with a shine. They have a bit of stretch.
****These do stretch a bit so if like a little baggier of a shirt, you may want to size up****
💥PRESSING INSTRUCTIONS💥
Make sure you use PLENTY of butcher paper!!
Cover the entire bottom of your press with butcher paper leaving nothing exposed to the shirt, do the same exact thing with the top of the press. Also one piece of butcher paper inside the shirt preferably folded in half to give extra protection from the color on the back transferring.
I find it easy to use masking tape to tape the butcher paper to the outside metal part of the press
You can put a pressing pillow inside the middle of the shirt. The pressing pillow should be completely covered with butcher paper on both sides to prevent the ink from getting on the pressing pillow. If any of your ink is exposed to the pressing pillow it will stain the next item you press. Also it is a good idea to use an extra piece of larger butcher paper on inside the shirt to press in addition to the pressing pillow.
You can also press for 45 seconds at 375-with light pressure. The preprinted background designs already on each shirt is also heat activated. Therefore the color will transfer to the element or pad if not covered. Put the least amount of color under the press.
⭐️⭐️PSA⭐️⭐️
There may be a learning curve to get the time, temperature, pressure, and overall method done correctly as with all sublimation items. Please understand everything stated is what works for me and you may need to tweak it a bit. Ex. Heat press runs hotter or cooler, light pressure may vary from person to person.
Please reach out with any questions before you attempt to sub your image and I’ll help to the best of my ability.
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST COVER YOUR ENTIRE PRESS FOR THESE SHIRTS OR YOU END UP WITH LEFTOVER INK ON YOUR PRESS THAT WILL TRANSFER ONTO YOUR NEXT ITEM YOU PRESS.
VERY IMPORTANT TO COVER THE ENTIRE HEAT PRESS WITH BUTCHER PAPER AS WELL AS A SHEET INSIDE THE MIDDLE OF THE SHIRT!
